How we make money

Does Hopfare get paid by partners?
Yes — when you click a booking link and complete a purchase, the partner pays us a small referral commission. This is standard across all flight search engines. The commission comes from the partner, never from you: you pay exactly the same price you'd see going to that site directly.
Does commission affect which fares are shown?
No. We sort and display results purely by price. We have no incentive to show you a more expensive option — our model only works if you find genuine value and come back.
Why do prices sometimes change when I click through?
Flight prices update continuously — sometimes in seconds. The price you see on Hopfare is pulled live from our partners, but by the time you reach the booking page a seat may have sold or the fare class may have changed. Always complete your booking quickly once you've found a good price.
Are there any partners that pay more than others?
Commission rates vary by partner, but this never influences how we rank or display results. Our ranking is strictly price-based.
